Kodiak Cookie Butter Granola Bars 6 Pack Review – Worth the Price?

I recently picked up Kodiak Cookie Butter Granola Bars and honestly wasn’t sure what to expect.

First things first, the flavor is really good. There’s a nice sweetness to it, but it doesn’t hit you over the head like some bars do. What really got me was this subtle savory thing going on underneath that I wasn’t expecting. That combo made it really hard to put down, which is either a great thing or a dangerous thing depending on how you look at it.

Kodiak Cookie Butter Granola Bars – The Verdict

⚠️ Warning: these are dangerously snackable.

Texture wise, these are crunchy, like actually crunchy. If you’re expecting something chewy you’re going to be surprised. They’re also a little on the crumbly and dry side, so do yourself a favor and have some water nearby, especially if dry granola gives you trouble. Just a heads up!

One thing that kept nagging at me while I was eating these, they taste a lot like Nature Valley Oats and Honey bars. Not a bad thing at all, just funny that a cookie butter flavored bar reminded me of a classic. Maybe that’s the secret ingredient?

Each bar packs 10g of protein which is a nice bonus, especially if you’re grabbing one as a snack on the go.

Now the one knock, price. At $5.29 for 6 bars you’re paying a bit of a premium. Not outrageous, but worth noting.

Ingredients: 100% whole grain rolled oats, cane sugar, wheat protein isolate, sunflower and/or canola and/or soybean oil, pea protein concentrate with tapioca starch, almond butter, tapioca syrup, light brown sugar refiner’s syrup, almonds, natural flavor, cinnamon, salt, baking soda. Contains almonds, soy and wheat. May contain trace amounts of egg, milk, peanuts, and tree nuts.

Is It Worth the Price?

Bottom line, I’d buy these again without hesitation. Every bar is going to get eaten!
